‘At a glittering awards ceremony in London last night (16th Nov 15), the Phoenix Artist Club was announced the winner of the ‘best bar & pub in Covent Garden’ category in Time Out’s Love London Awards 2015.
As one of the last truly independent private members clubs in central London, the award is testament to the hard work, innovation and enterprise that has gone into maintaining the club’s immense charm and popularity.
Ken Wright, Managing Director, said ‘it’s an incredibly difficult time for small businesses in central London, so winning this award – which customers vote for – surely confirms that people want to support venues that make effort to support the community and offer quality with quirkiness.’
Established in 1988, the Art Deco interior was recently brought back to life and is a unique setting for imaginative theatre inspired cocktails and unique food created from freshly produced products and served by friendly staff in a unique brasserie.
With a diary full of community and artistic events of every possible genre, this ‘hidden gem’ is a much loved – and now – award winning venue to be proud of.
The Phoenix Artist Club is open to non-members 7 days a week, with last entry at 9pm.
