It has been announced that Killian Donnelly will play Jean Valjean in the upcoming UK & Ireland tour of the hit musical Les Miserables. The show opens at Curve Lesicester on 3 November 2018 and then heads to Dublin, Edinburgh, Manchester and more venues around the UK&I. For full tour dates see below.
Killian is currently playing the role in the West End and will leave the London production on 9 June 2018 before starting rehearsals for the tour. Killian is no stranger to the musical Les Mis, having joined the show ten years ago and gone on to star in both the 25th Anniversary Concert and the feature film starring Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway.
The new tour of Les Miserables will showcase Cameron Mackintosh’s 2009 production which is a much more modern take on the West End version that has been running for over thirty years.
