Now in its 8th successive year, The Mousetrap Awards are run from start to finish by our Youth Forum, who do everything from choosing the categories and nominees, to organising and hosting the ceremony itself.
This year’s nominees range from Everybody’s Talking About Jamie to The Jungle, Heathers to Hamilton: and we’ve got some fun new categories too, including Show With The Most Emo and Watch This Face! For the first time, we’ll also present a Special Recognition Award for contribution to theatre, to highlight some of the pioneering work being done within the industry.
Over 1000 people voted in last year’s awards, but as there are over 15,000 young people in our theatregoing clubs we know you can top that! And to encourage more people to vote, we’re offering one lucky voter the THEATREGOING PRIZE OF DREAMS!!
As well as 2 x FRONT ROW seats and VIP treatment at The Mousetrap Awards ceremony, you’ll get a goody bag full of treats, including top theatre tickets and programmes signed by some of the award-winners!
