With over 25,000 votes cast, the winners have been announced for The Curtain Up Show Album of the Year 2019.
Heathers The Musical, which kicks off a UK tour in May, wins Best London Cast Recording, whilst Moulin Rouge!, currently playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on Broadway and set to open at the Piccadilly Theatre in London next March, wins Best Broadway Cast Recording.
Meanwhile, West End and Broadway star John Owen-Jones’ sixth studio album, Spotlight, scoops Best Solo Album.
The winners were revealed live on The Curtain Up Show on Resonance FM this afternoon by Tim McArthur and Nathan Matthews, in the first episode of the weekly chat show’s 23rd series.
