Yesterday, actress Natasha Ferguson became the first person in worldwide history to play all three witches in Wicked the Musical.
Natasha, who was the 1st cover Nessarose and Elphaba on the UK & Ireland Tour, joined the London production as maternity cover for Carina Gillespie (Nessarose) but left the production on 22 February 2020 when Carina returned to the role.
But Natasha (who also understudied the role of ‘Dorothy Brock’ in 42nd Street at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) was called back to the show yesterday to step in to the role of Glinda for the day, becoming the only person in the history of Wicked around the world to have played all three witches (Elphaba, Glinda, Nessarose).
