Inspired by the West End star of the 1700s and iconic feminist, Kitty Clive and her most famous character Mrs Riot, this cocktail destination with a cheeky and bohemian vibe is the perfect place to transport yourself to a different era of entertainment.
Using her earning power and fame, Kitty led the fight for actors’ rights, publicly shaming people for conspiring to pay female actors less than males. She also railed against the public’s habit of associating actors with beggars and prostitutes. Basically, she was a badass bitch!
Situated on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden, Mrs Riot is a bar smack bang in the middle of the West End theatre scene. Between St Martin’s Lane and The Strand, it is a short stroll from many theatres which makes it the ideal place to stop in for a delicious cocktail (or three) before and after a show!

Every Saturday you can experience Drag Queen Bottomless Brunch hosted by Margo Marshall – a riotous afternoon of hilarious lipsync battles, outrageous bingo, games, and dance-offs.
