The West End Wilma Awards returns in 2022 for the seventh year, celebrating the best of UK Theatre.
The Wilma Awards prides itself on recognising those who sometimes go unmentioned in other award ceremonies like understudies, ensemble performers and rising stars.
The Wilma Awards has grown in popularity since its beginning and the last year received over 100,000 votes from the theatre loving public.

The Wilma Awards were first held at Freedom Bar in Soho for the first year before moving to the Hippodrome Casino for 2015 and 2016 and then the Prince of Wales Theatre (Delfont Room) in 2017. For 2018 we moved to the Arts Theatre in Covent Garden, more than doubling the capacity of the venue. The 2019 awards were the biggest yet, at Café de Paris in London’s West End.
10% of ticket sales will be donated to Mousetrap Theatre Projects to help create more accessible theatre.
