Created by a group of friends in 2015, Sh!t-faced Showtime takes well-known stories and creates original scripts with a musical playlist. A boozy improv musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic Christmas tale returns to Leicester Square Theatre for a triumphantly tipsy fourth year. Featuring a West End cast of professional actors with a single, genuinely inebriated cast member thrown into the mix, audiences are invited to pull up a stool, relax and watch the festive chaos unfold.

This rendition of Charles Dickens’ classic tale is performed with skilled improvisation, dance and iconic song performances by five performers drawn from a large rolling cast, many of whom play different roles on different nights. Our compare for the evening helps to keep things on track, steering the cast back in the right direction if the drunk cast mate goes too far off script. After all, there is a story to be told, and in under two hours, someone has to keep an eye on the clock. Members of the audience are given the power to stop the show at any time if they feel the drunk performer is starting to sober up and another drink is given to them.

A Pissedmas Carol really is a different show every single night and this tight-knit cast manage to ad-lib their way through the story, taking the lead from the inebriated person. It’s a lot of fun and perfect for a festive, fun night out.
