Robert Icke to direct Romeo & Juliet in London’s West End

Sadie Sink & Noah Jupe to Star in Romeo & Juliet in London’s West End – Tickets On Sale Now

Hollywood favourites Sadie Sink (Stranger Things, The Whale, John Proctor Is the Villain – Tony Award Nominee) and Noah Jupe (Hamnet, A Quiet Place, Ford v Ferrari) will lead a brand-new West End production of Romeo & Juliet at the Harold Pinter Theatre in 2026.

Directed by internationally acclaimed theatre-maker Robert Icke (Oedipus, The Doctor), the production runs for a strictly limited 12-week season from Monday 16 March – Saturday 6 June 2026, with press night on Tuesday 31 March 2026.

Set in Verona in the height of summer, this fresh interpretation of Romeo & Juliet brings Shakespeare’s iconic love story into sharp, contemporary focus. Two young people meet at a party… and the rest becomes tragedy.

Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe Make Their West End Debuts

Sadie Sink shot to global fame as Max Mayfield in Netflix’s Stranger Things. She later earned a Critics’ Choice nomination for Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale, and will soon join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

A former Broadway performer, Sink began her career in Annie and recently received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Play for John Proctor Is the Villain.

Noah Jupe has quickly become one of the most exciting young talents in film, known for acclaimed performances in A Quiet Place, Honey Boy, and Ford v Ferrari. He will soon appear as Hamlet in the film adaptation of Hamnet, as well as roles in &Sons and The Carpenter’s Son.
