South African Zulu Dance Musical, INALA Extends London Run

INALA Extends West End Run to 4 April 2026 at New Venue House of Sisters Grimm

INALA, the Grammy-nominated South African Zulu dance musical, has extended its London run due to public demand. The production, which opened at House of Sisters Grimm on 28 November, will now play until 4 April 2026 with an expanded performance schedule of six shows a week.

Since its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Festival in 2014, INALA has toured internationally and appeared on major stages including the Royal Variety Performance, The Peacock Theatre, Hampton Court Palace, Marina Bay Sands Singapore and the Royal Albert Hall. The show has earned widespread critical acclaim and standing ovations around the world.

INALA was co-created by Ella Spira MBE and the late Joseph Shabalala, founder of the Grammy-winning choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, with choreography by Mark Baldwin OBE.

A new 2025 version with South African debut success

The updated 2025 version of INALA was first seen in May at Joburg Theatre’s Nelson Mandela Stage, where it premiered to sold-out audiences and glowing reviews. Demand was so high that an extra performance was added and also sold out. This version includes newly added narration by Ndaba Mandela.

House of Sisters Grimm opens in London’s West End

For more than ten years, Sisters Grimm has established an international reputation for artistic innovation with purpose. Founded in 2009 by Pietra Mello-Pittman MBE, a former Royal Ballet dancer, and Ella Spira MBE, a Grammy-nominated composer and artist, the company has presented work at Carnegie Hall, Dubai Opera and Raffles Singapore.

The launch of House of Sisters Grimm in the West End brings together the company’s three core pillars:
