Wild Sci-Fi Comedy Adventure TIN CAN comes to London

TIN CAN – A Wild Sci-Fi Comedy Adventure comes to Redbridge Drama Centre 27–28 February 2026 at 7.30pm

Galactic Bandits Lazzy and Kane are on the run.

Low on fuel and supplies they’ll have to navigate a volatile galaxy in search for a better life – before it catches up with them.

Tin Can is a brand new play featuring fast paced, action-packed comedy. It explores isolation, identity, survival and companionship. Bursting with vibrant lighting, dynamic visuals, sharp wit, and immersive sound design, this play launches audiences into a universe teeming with energy, mystery, and heart-pounding adventure.

Buckle Up Theatre brings its latest original production to Redbridge Drama Centre, the venue where the company’s journey began over a decade ago.

Founded by Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts graduate Andrew Hollingworth, Buckle Up Theatre was born from a determination to create original work and perform it.

Since their debut at Redbridge Drama Centre in 2013, the company has taken their productions around the world, including performances at the Edinburgh Fringe and VAULT Festival as well as tours to Florida, Texas, Lithuania, Prague, Germany, and Belgium. Hollingworth’s previous play Bump! won Best Comedy Show at the Greater Manchester Fringe and The People’s Choice Award at AACT World Fest.

Tin Can is a three-handed play, new writing, performed by Andrew Hollingworth, Rebecca Levy, and Charlotte Bloomsbury, all Mountview alumni, and directed by Michael Woodwood.

  • Rebecca Levy’s theatre credits include Mamma Mia!:The Party and Vernon’s Girls (Royal Court Theatre Liverpool).
  • Charlotte Bloomsbury’s credits include The 39 Steps (Wiltshire Creative) and A Christmas Carol (Soho Place).
  • Director Michael Woodwood’s work spans Twelfth Night (GB Theatre), Love on the Tracks (Watermill Theatre), Le Nozze di Figaro (Kaunas Opera Academy), and Buckle Up Theatre’s Bump!
