Earlier this year I published a blog Is Delfont Mackintosh Theatre ‘DMT+ Membership’ worth paying for? where I reviewed the benefits of the membership package.
So I thought it only fair I follow that blog up with the other main theatre membership card in the West End, ATG.
At £35 for a 12 month membership (if paying by Direct Debit) the card entitles you to all these benefits listed.
Unlike the DMT+ membership, there are no freebies like programme or drinks vouchers but the biggest benefit here is the ‘no booking fee’ on tickets (usually £3.65 per ticket). So if you are going to book ten tickets or more within twelve months, you instantly recoup what you pay out in membership.
Another huge selling point is that your membership card gives you 25% off drinks at ATG bars (apart from Trafalgar Studios). And at £11 for a large white wine, 25% works out to be a pretty nice discount (reduces to £8.25) if you like a few drinks at the theatre like I do!
There are ATG theatres up and down the United Kingdom so this card isn’t just beneficial in London but these benefits can be taken advantage of where ever you live!
ATG shows in London include Wicked, The Woman In Black, The Lion King, Come From Away, Pretty Woman and 9 to 5 and they have theatres in most touring hotspots around the country.
