There are many tips and tricks out there for how to get good discounts on theatre tickets.
But if you are looking for a show to go to on the same day, or within the next few days, then it is always worth checking the official website for the show as you never know what you might find!
Day Seats have always been around, selling discounted tickets on the day of the show but you don’t always have to line up outside the theatre, waiting for the box office to open for discounted tickets anymore. Sometimes seats are discounted on the official websites as well.
For instance, you can bag yourself a front row ticket to see Mary Poppins tonight for just £37.50. But ifs you want to book the same seat for next Monday it will cost you an extra £40 at £77.50!
A couple of weeks ago, I was perusing the Pretty Woman website and found that seats in the front row for the following days performance were discounted from £175 to just £40 – a saving of £135 per ticket!
Of course there is no guarantee that you will find the same deals every day but it is certainly worth having a little look around and you never know what little gems you might find!
