Shaw Theatre Celebrates Pride

Shaw Theatre announces its first ever mini season celebrating London Pride. Four events all focusing on different parts of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The events include:

  • 2nd July – Blacktress UK presenting Take Up Space – an open mic night showcasing LGBTQIA+ through poetry and performance.
  • 3rd July – London’s Gay Men’s Chorus Ensemble presents Glad To Be Gay – celebrating pride and marking 50 years since the Stonewall riots, expect vocal fireworks and sparking harmonies.
  • 4th July – Sistren presents: Ackee & Saltfish + Talk the Ting screening – Sistren are the bold, black, queer culture driving trio. Two major film screenings with post show Q&A
  • 14th July – Last Minute Musicals Last Minute Rent – New production company Last Minute Musicals will present Jonathan Larson’s RENT. The performance will be in aid of Terrence Higgins Trust.
