The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time doesn’t look like it will re-open this month at the Apollo Theatre as planned. The theatre closed in late December after part of the ceiling collapsed during a performance of the show. It has been announced today that the show will move to the Gielgud Theatre from June 24 2014. Booking for the show will open on January 17 2014 and priority will go to those who have already booked tickets for the Apollo show.
The Apollo theatre is able to re-open but the Gallery area can not (which will reduce the capacity of the seating). Whether this will happen, or if it will remain closed until fully restored is unconfirmed.
It has also been announced that The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time will also open on Broadway in October 2014.
