After last years sell out debut at Upstairs at the Arts, Evelyn Hoskins (Rising Star Award winner at the 2015 Wilma Awards) announces her second solo show ‘There was a Little Girl’ at Battersea Barge on April 24th. Evelyn (most recently seen as Liesl in ITV’s ‘The Sound of Music Live’ and the title role in Carrie the Musical at Southwark Playhouse) will be sharing songs, old and new, with special guests Sam Lupton (Wicked/Avenue Q) and Rolf from Sound of Music Live, Jon Tarcy.
Along with MD James Taylor and in association with Avalanche, this will be a one off intimate show prior to her New York engagement this summer. The show will be directed by the legendary Frances Ruffelle, who originated the role of Eponine in Les Miserables.
Evelyn’s other credits include Alan Ayckbourn’s newest play ‘Hero’s Welcome’ (UK tour and Off-Broadway), Spring Awakening (West End), Misfits (E4), Casualty and Holby City (BBC), Peter Pan (US tour).
