If you go down to Planet Hollywood this Christmas, you’re in for a big surprise… possibly the biggest, bestest superstar of all time has committed to spending a number of days from his excessively busy schedule at Planet Hollywood, London.
From Thursday 19th until Monday 23rd December from 2pm – 6pm Father Christmas will be in the house, taking last minute requests (which will obviously be emailed back to the Elves in Lapland). There’ll be no horrid queuing to squeeze into a cramped little cave; rather the jolly big fella will be table hopping his way around the restaurant, making time for all and keeping his eye open for those who’ve been on their best behaviour:
As always, Planet Hollywood’s atmosphere promises to be electric; huge multi-purpose plasma TVs will screen the most nostalgic Christmas themed movie and music clips. Intermittently, the restaurant’s roving cameras take over the screens to transmit live footage of giddy diners – giving everyone their 15 seconds of fame. There’s even a personalised messaging function where guests can text their merry greetings and have them displayed on the plasma screens.
But most importantly, the food! Oh my goodness, Planet Hollywood has pulled out all the stops! Individual diners, couples, families and groups not only have a brand new A La Carte menu, they also have three festive menus to choose from which start at just £19.95 for two courses (including service and VAT!).
Traditional Roast Turkey of course features heavily in the Christmas menus, as do other seasonal favourites like the sweet cured salmon beetroot gravadlax, smoked duck breast with ruby port and raspberry dressing and the sweet, sugary, crisp mince pies.
For those with a preference for an alternative menu, well they can still soak up all of the Christmas cheer, whilst enjoying some of Planet Hollywood’s greatest, classic dishes including our 260gm prime sirloin steak, a delicious Leek Fondue Tart with mustard seeds, and a celebrity bacon cheeseburger. Vegetarians are heavily catered for plus Planet Hollywood’s new A La Carte menu for 2015/2016 has two full pages packed with gluten free options.
At Planet Hollywood the atmosphere is sparkling, the food is enticing and the movie memorabilia is exciting.
