FLASHBANG COMMENCES UK TOUR FOLLOWING CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED LONDON RUN

Following a critically acclaimed main house run in London, Proforca Theatre Company is pleased to announce that Flashbang will embark on a UK tour this Spring.
The production has received eleven four- and five-star reviews and two OffWestEnd Award nominations (Best Performance Ensemble and Sound Design), and will tour to venues including Buxton Opera House, Hull Truck Theatre, Mercury Theatre Colchester, The Lion & Unicorn Theatre and Belgrade Theatre Coventry, where the tour will conclude on 9 May 2026.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Flashbang is a fast-paced, ensemble-led new play about friendship, memory and the moments that change everything.
Set in a town “twenty miles from anywhere important”, the play follows five best mates growing up together, navigating nights out, shared history and the unspoken bonds that hold them together, until something shifts and everything changes.
At its heart are loveable, recognisable young men, written with humour, warmth and honesty. The play reflects the lived experience of growing up in small towns, capturing the rhythms of friendship, identity and the pressure to hold everything together as life begins to move on.
Told through movement, music and direct address, Flashbang combines high-energy storytelling with emotional precision, creating a piece that is both immediate and deeply affecting.
