This Autumn award winning performer JOHN OWEN-JONES (Les Mis/Phantom of The Opera) announces further tour dates and will be recording a Xmas single. John has been busy with TV work which included a guest role in ‘The Mill’ that aired in August on Channel 4. This follows appearances in ‘Scott and Bailey’ (ITV) and ‘In The Flesh’ (BBC3).
Recently John performed as a special guest with Gareth Gates on his Momentous Musical tour, with gospel singer David Phelps at the O2, London and US musical composer Scott Allan also at the O2. Each time receiving a standing ovation!
John follows his critically acclaimed album ‘Unmasked’ with a Xmas single for 2013. John will be recording a version of ‘O Holy Night’.
John has enjoyed critical acclaim for his award winning performances in the lead role of Jean Valjean in ‘Les Miserables’ and the title role in The Phantom of the Opera. John performed in New York this year where he appeared as a very special guest in a gala performance of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ to celebrate the show’s 25th year on Broadway. John is no stranger to the role with nearly 2000 performances as the ‘Opera Ghost’ and is considered by fans worldwide to be the definitive Phantom.
