Cats in Quarantine is a tribute to Cats choreographer Dame Gillian Lynne, who inspired so many dancers around the world. This new YouTube film was created by West End performer Harry Francis as a follow up to his latest video A Chorus Line in Quarantine: The London Edition. Harry recently played Mr Mistoffelees on the International tour of Cats, after previously playing Mungojerrie at the London Palladium. His other credits include A Chorus Line, Wicked, The Book of Mormon, Hairspray and West Side Story.
Cats in Quarantine features 333 cast members from productions of Cats around the world dancing to Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic music, while in isolation. This video brings together cast members from London, New York, Toronto, Zurich, Vienna, Germany, Australia, South Africa, Moscow, South Korea, UK tours, US National tours, International tours, the Royal Caribbean Cruise and the hugely successful 1998 film.
The video features original London cast members: Bonnie Langford, Seeta Indrani, Luke Baxter and original Broadway company members: Héctor Jaime Mercado, Herman Sebek, Christine Langner, Steven Hack, Marléne Danielle and Ken Page.
The newly recorded music for Cats in Quarantine is produced by Josh Sood (Assistant Musical Director on the 2019 International tour of Cats).
