According to the official Twitter account, fans of Alanis Morissette can expect Jagged Little Pill the Musical to arrive in the West End later this year. They said “COMING TO LONDON’S WEST END FALL 2022” which will mean anytime between September-December 2022. Venue to be announced.
As someone who has followed Alanis Morissette‘s career for the last twenty-five years, seen her live on every tour and even has an embarrassing tattoo to prove it, I loved every second of this show on Broadway. But as an honest theatre review, putting my personal feelings for the music aside, it didn’t feel quite ready – despite it being worked on for the last seven years. There has also been a lot of controversy in recent months about the way the show was cast in New York and so it will be interesting to see how this is handled for the London production.
