For four nights only, My Fair Ladies is appearing at The Crazy Coqs and promises an evening filled to the brim with the best songs made famous by Broadway’s best divas.
Reliving these iconic songs are three of London’s own best young divas: Lisa-Anne Wood (Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera), Laura-Jane Matthewson (Dogfight, winner of Evening Standard Emerging Talent award) and Maeve Byrne (Ghost – the musical, Godspell).
In fresh new arrangements by musical director Niall Bailey, My Fair Ladies is inspired by the lives, loves and careers of the most iconic divas, including Ethel Merman, Liza Minnelli, Barbra Streisand, Bernadette Peters and others. And the evening promises to take you on a journey familiar to all leading ladies: from the dream to make it on Broadway, to falling in love; through unrequited love to finding the strength to look adversity in the eye and carry on regardless.
