GROUNDED – The living room concert, filmed in lockdown by West End performers Sharon Sexton and Rob Fowler, currently on hiatus from the roles of Donna and Sam in the UK & International tour of MAMMA MIA ! The pair met when they originated the roles of Falco & Sloane in the epic West End Smash hit Bat Out Of Hell.
They earned rave reviews for their chemistry & vocal flair & in 2018 released their first duets album Vision OF You.
The show, which was nominated for the West End Wilma Best Cabaret Show in 2019, saw Sexton & Fowler tour 20 sell out venues last year, including The Crazy Coqs, Southwark Playhouse and The Other Palace in London, before they were cast together again, this time on the Greek island.
Following the tours temporary suspension, the duo have now found themselves lost, like many, in lockdown limbo, on the road…with their lives in suitcases and no home to go to.
They’ve taken refuge in a rented cottage, in Lincolnshire, with the dog & guitar & have tried to use their isolation together as a time to return to writing & be creative.
An archived Vision of You concert they released in March, raised almost £1200 for the Funds For Freelancers Charity & following it’s success, they’ve now turned their attention back to their own work & making original music.
