Producer Nadim Naaman says: “I’m thrilled that we are bringing ‘Playing Our Part’ back to Cadogan Hall, having raised a combined £100,000 for Target Ovarian Cancer and Comic Relief respectively in 2013 and 2014. The West End has a unique and wonderful way of showing up to support others and the most vital of causes. A decade after we first produced these concerts, it feels very fitting to be reuniting to do our bit for such an important charity. I’m delighted that so many singers and musicians are willing to dedicate their time to raise funds for Target Ovarian Cancer, and that we can celebrate the incredible work of those employed by the charity.”
Chief Executive at Target Ovarian Cancer, Annwen Jones OBE, says: “11 women die every day in the UK from Ovarian Cancer. That’s 11 too many. It is possible for us to change the course of this disease, and ensure that women survive. With the funds raised from ‘Playing Our Part’, we hope to accelerate progress in diagnosis, treatment and support. We are incredibly grateful to Nadim for his support and to all of the West End stars for playing their part. We cannot wait for this spectacular event.”
