Quote from the producer, Thomas Attwood “Su Pollard was a delight to work with and brought an infectious energy into the rehearsal room. I’m very sorry that we cannot share this hard work with our audiences and wish her well. I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Sarah Redmond into our little company. Sarah’s huge experience as a performer and director in the West End makes her a wonderful addition to the 40th Anniversary production”
The production will be narrated by one of the show’s original creators, Stuart Pedlar, who is the production’s musical director. Stuart has worked with Stephen Sondheim for over 40 years, and boasts credits such as the original London productions of A Little Night Music and Sweeney Todd. The 40th Anniversary production will also include Marianne Benedict (Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, The Wizard of OZ and We Will Rock You) and Grant McConvey (Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year).
