On Sunday there was a gala performance for Matthew Bourne’s SLEEPING BEAUTY at Sadler’s Wells.
The event was attended by celebrity guests including Douglas Booth, Anita Dobson, Freddie Fox, Kate Garraway, Ruth Jones, Andrew Marr, Brian May, Annie Lennox, Adrian Lester, Tamzin Outhwaite and Susanna Reid.
Matthew Bourne’s SLEEPING BEAUTY is a gothic tale for all ages; the traditional tale of good vs. evil and rebirth is turned upside-down, creating a supernatural love story that even the passage of time itself cannot hinder. It is playing at Sadler’s Wells until 24 January 2016 before touring until 30 April 2016.
