West End Wilma Awards in association with Free@Last TV Ltd

Leicester Square Theatre
The West End Wilma Awards returns in 2022 for the seventh year, celebrating the best of UK Theatre. The Wilma Awards prides itself on recognising those who sometimes go unmentioned in other award ceremonies like understudies, ensemble performers and rising stars.
The Wilma Awards has grown in popularity since its beginning and the last year received over 100,000 votes from the theatre loving public.
The star studded ceremony is always a celebration of theatre and a great chance for performers and theatre fans to get together and have fun.
This year we will be celebrating the following categories:
Best Touring Production
Sponsored by The Orchard Theatre, Dartford
Best Cabaret/Solo Performance
Sponsored by Phoenix Arts Club
Rising Star

Best Takeover in A Role

Best Off-West End Show
Best West End Show

For the first time, theatre lovers will be able to nominate who they would like to see on the shortlist (usually decided by the West End Wilma team). The most popular nominations will then, as always, be put to a public vote to decide on the winners.
Nominations will begin on 9 May 2022 and will span the entire two and a half years since the last West End Wilma Awards (from September 2019 to May 2022). The shortlist will be published to cast your votes for the winners on 31 May 2022.
The Wilma Awards were first held at Freedom Bar in Soho for the first year before moving to the Hippodrome Casino for 2015 and 2016 and then the Prince of Wales Theatre (Delfont Room) in 2017. For 2018 we moved to the Arts Theatre in Covent Garden, more than doubling the capacity of the venue. The 2019 awards were the biggest yet, at Café de Paris in London’s West End.
Tickets are priced at £24.50 each + fees.
There are a very limited number of VIP tickets available priced at £49.50 + fees. VIP tickets include a front row seat, a signed programme (by the performers on the day) and exclusive access to watch the soundcheck before the show!
10% of ticket sales will be donated to Mousetrap Theatre Projects to help create more accessible theatre.
