Two Short Plays About Gays / Doctor Who come to the HOPE Theatre

Gay Play Diva Drag“WHO’S ZOOMING WHO?”

“Dr Who” star and a complete “Who?” share the London Fringe

It’s a case of “Who”’s Zooming “Who?” as fringe veteran Gregory Ashton (Madam Butterfly’s Child, Diary of a Welshcake) shares the stage with both celebrated Doctor Who actress Louise Jameson and completely unknown Joseph Martin Who is making his London stage debut in Two Short Plays About Gays at The Hope Theatre Islington, 6th to 24th September at 7.45pm

Louise is a familiar face after a successful career on television and stage (Bergerac, Tenko, Eastenders) and The Diva Drag sees her playing a homophobic ghost opposite Greg’s drag queen, while Joseph, a recent graduate from East 15, plays Younger to Greg’s Older in Middle Aged Rent

Louise and Greg worked together on the audio musical Barry the Penguin’s Black & White Christmas (with the 9th Doctor Christopher Eccleston), but now they play mother and son in the 2nd half of an evening of two bittersweet gay plays and are looking forward to showcasing recent graduate Joseph to the London theatre crowd.
