Auditions have been announced to find the next stars for two international touring productions.
What’s Love Got To Do With It?, a celebration of the music of Tina Turner, and Whitney – Queen of the Night, celebrating Whitney Houston, is casting for the leading role in both productions.
The casting follows the phenomenal success of both shows in the UK and overseas.
Elesha Paul-Moses already performs as Tina and Whitney in both shows but due to the demand for more tour dates in the UK and Europe, producers Paul Roberts Productions and Cuffe and Taylor are seeking potential Tina’s and Whitney’s to take on the lead role in Europe.
Auditions will take place in central London on Tuesday October 22nd and anyone interested should email [email protected]
Ben Hatton, director of theatre touring at Cuffe and Taylor, said: “The demand for both of these shows has been enormous over the last 12 months and that demand is increasing daily.
“We launched What’s Love Got To Do With It? as a brand new production earlier this year and have enjoyed sell out shows and fantastic reviews across the country. By the end of 2019, the show will have played 59 venues across the UK, with international dates also in the diary for 2020.
“In addition, Elesha also performs as Whitney in Queen of the Night. This year, the show made its West End debut with sell-out nights at London’s Savoy Theatre, and has been busy touring the UK, as well as having dates in Spain, Ibiza, Portugal, Brazil and Poland.
“We already have 80 dates announced for both shows in the UK for 2020. We will be adding a lot more dates to this as well as a number of shows in Europe so it’s essential we have more leading ladies.”
What’s Love Got To Do With It? is a joyous show celebrating the music of the incredible Tina Turner.
Launched in 2019, the show has sold theatres in towns and cities across the UK and is the ultimate tribute concert paying homage to one of the most iconic and much loved musical artists of the 20th Century.
Whitney Queen of the Night has toured extensively across the UK for the past three years. It has enjoyed three sold-out West End shows at The Savoy this year and will return for two festive shows in December.
