Statement in full:
“In accordance with the government guidelines, the producers have temporarily suspended performances of Magic Mike Live at the Hippodrome from 9 June, with performances resuming on 18 June.
The production has very rigorous testing procedures and protocols in place which alerted the team to a positive result among the Magic Mike team that prevents the show from performing until 18 June.
The health and wellbeing of our customers and company is our top priority and we are grateful that the procedures we have put into place have been successful and effective.
Those with tickets for impacted performances are being contacted. We ask ticket holders for impacted performances to watch emails (including junk/spam) for updates. We ask for patience & understanding throughout this process as it will take some time to contact everyone.
Patrons can rest assured that all tickets will be refunded & will be contacted to re-book. While performances of Magic Mike are suspended the rest of the Hippodrome Casino remains open including all gaming & casino floors, Heliot Steak House, all bars & the rooftop terrace.
We’re looking forward to getting back on stage for you as soon as we can.”
