Is Pretty Woman The Musical transferring to the Savoy Theatre?

Today I noticed a video online of someone walking past the Piccadilly Theatre in London’s West End, home of Pretty Woman The Musical, but all of the posters and advertising for the show appeared to have been removed.

For the past couple of months, rumours have been circulating online that the show may reopen at the Savoy Theatre, to make room for Moulin Rouge the Musical which was always due to open at the Piccadilly Theatre this year.

The ATG website is now listing Pretty Woman at both the Piccadilly Theatre and the Savoy Theatre, making it look more and more likely that an announcement is coming soon that the show will transfer before it reopens.

Tickets are still on sale for Pretty Woman at the Piccadilly Theatre from 15 May 2021 which seems unlikely if posters have been removed but possibly it is planning to reopen on that date, but at a different theatre.

Nothing official has been announced so far.
